OSITION: Customer Service Associate
LOCATION: Barrie, ON

MacDonald Search Group is a national permanent placement recruiting firm and we recruit on behalf of hiring companies.

We are recruiting on behalf of one of the largest distributors in Canada of kitchen and bath fixtures.

Their Barrie branch is on the hunt for a new team member for their showroom due to growth. This is a customer service position in which you will be responsible for the end-to-end order process from helping customers select product, placing the order, and fulfilling the order.

This is an entry level opportunity so recent graduates are encouraged to apply! No previous industry experience or product knowledge required just a customer service skill set.

Customers will either be interior designers, homeowners, general contractors, or builders.

This is a full-time permanent position that is fully onsite Monday to Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm.

This position provides a salary, annual bonus, strong benefits program and pension plan.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • College and/or University degree
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience in any capacity (restaurant, retail etc.)
  • Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software with intermediate math skills
  • Excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • A team player and ‘can-do’ attitude
