DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a structured call cycle that combines farming existing accounts while identifying new business opportunities.
- Meet sales budgets and monthly sales targets, providing reports as required
- Negotiate price with accounts to protect the dynamics between both margins and volume sales
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, promotions, etc.
- Recommend changes in product assortment, service, and policies that reflect your market
- Respond to customer complaints by working closely with the customer and sales management to resolve the issues promptly.
- Work closely with the National Key Account Managers to ensure programs are meeting the needs of the local market.
- Assist Accounting in seeking credit approval on new accounts along with credit monitoring for the roster of accounts (ensuring accounts are all within terms)
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2 years of sales experience with a hunter mentality
- Strong negotiations skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Organizational and solid time management skills
- Able to work independently
- Motivated for sales and growth, and determined to meet goals
- A great team player
- Valid driver's licence
- Computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Windows
