Bio
Oliver comes from a technical science background with a BSC Chemistry from St. Francis Xavier University and a Master’s Degree in Biochemistry from Dalhousie University. He leveraged his award-winning research to author five scientific manuscripts and begin in a position in R&D for a top-tiered In Vitro Diagnostics company in Dartmouth, NS. While Oliver had built out an extensive resume in research, he wanted to exercise his natural interpersonal skills in the world of Recruitment. Oliver has been a leader in his experience with sport and competition, having played basketball at the Varsity level with StFX University as well as extensive community outreach with Special Olympics Nova Scotia.
Born and raised in Halifax, Oliver has spent his entire life in Nova Scotia. He has forged a large, well-connected network through his experience in the Scientific community. As a subject matter expert in the field of Science, Oliver aims to use his unique experience to attract talent to the up-and-coming Science and Biotechnology industry in Atlantic Canada.
